The department will submit a memorandum indicating their recommendation including the vote and their support. The department will also attach a recommendation letter detailing the faculties accomplishments that justify the title of TITLE EMERITUS of (DISCIPLINE). The letter must describe the anticipated benefits of granting Professor LASTNAME emeritus status, including how this designation will support the professor’s continued engagement and advance the interests of the university. After obtaining the Dean's signature, send the memo and the faculty members CV to facultyaffairs@mst.edu.
