Missouri S&T's faculty awards offer an important path to help faculty build a record of recognition that opens doors to state, national, and international honors. 

About These Awards

Missouri S&T recognizes faculty each year through our Teaching, Research, Service, Achievement, Excellence, and Well-Being awards. These awards exist in part to help faculty build a documented record of accomplishment — one that positions them well for state, regional, national, and international recognition down the road. A campus award is often the first credential that makes a faculty member competitive for larger honors, many of which require or favor candidates who have already been recognized by their home institution.

With that in mind, we encourage nominators to think about impact when identifying candidates: which colleagues stand to gain the most from this platform as they build their professional profile? Faculty at every career stage — including full professors and long-recognized colleagues — remain eligible and are welcome to be nominated. At the same time, our most experienced and highly recognized faculty are especially valuable as mentors, letter writers, and advocates, helping identify and lift up colleagues who are in an earlier part of their journey.

Nominations for the Faculty Campus Achievement, Excellence, Research, Service, Teaching and Excellence in Well-Being will be accepted until October 7, 2026.
