In accordance with Missouri S&T Policy Memorandum I-10 on Policy Development, input from the campus community is required on any proposed policy development. 

Campus policies will be reviewed and drafted, as needed, by the Chancellor’s Office. This need may originate from an annual review, an external audit, a request emailed to policy@mst.edu, or other communication. Internal and external research will be conducted during the development of any policy.

New Policies
New campus policies put forth by administration or university representatives must go through a rigorous, multi-step process. Electronic communication of the proposed new policy can be sent to policy@mst.edu. 

Policy Revisions
Proposed revisions to existing campus policies may be sent to policy@mst.edu along with an executive summary explaining the need for the revision and a redlined version of the current policy.
